New Acupuncture Patients

Due to high demand, new acupuncture patients will be required to pay a $50 reservation fee when making their first appointment. This will be applied to any copays/deductible or package costs once the initial visit is complete.

Medications Not Available at Designated Pharmacy

What should you do if the pharmacy says your
prescribed medication is out of stock? In this situation, patients have several options:

1. Wait until the medication is back in stock.

2. Ask your pharmacist if they have the medication in a different strength, then contact the office to see if your prescription can be temporarily modified.

3. Contact other pharmacies in your area to see if they have your specific medication available. If you need to change your designated pharmacy before your visit, you MUST be sure to ask the new pharmacy if they will accept you as a patient. Some pharmacies are currently not accepting new patients.

Designated pharmacies will be changed ONCE before your next visit. Ongoing issues with medication may require an earlier office visit to discuss other treatment options.

Phone System

When calling LCP&P, please listen to the phone tree choices and choose the appropriate line. Answering of live calls is currently not available so we may better serve in-office patients. Messages are being checked and answered multiple times through the day. Messages left Friday - Sunday will be reviewed but may not be returned until the next business day.

Leaving multiple messages on the system regarding the same issue may prolong our response time.

Patients exhibiting any signs of cough, congestion, or fever will still be required to wear a mask while in the office. If you have recently been exposed to anyone who is ill, we request you wear a mask as a precaution. Please contact the office with any questions if you are sick or have been exposed.

Please contact the office if you have any questions about your upcoming visit or if you are currently sick/quarantined.

nearest ER.

 Acupuncture Rates

Individual acupuncture sessions are $85 per session. Each session includes a possible combination of at least two of the following: cupping/Gua Sha, scalp, auricular acupuncture, traditional meridian acupuncture, and other treatments. Treatments last about 45 minutes.

We will continue to offer a package of 4 sessions for $300  (a $40 savings!). Package expires one year from purchase. There is no refund for unused sessions.

Single treatment sessions can be purchased for $50. These include any single set of body needles (with or without cupping) or the Rapid Destress Protocol.

Single auricular acupuncture or Cupping sessions will now be just $25 per session.

If cupping is not covered by insurance, it can still be added to a session for $25. Please be aware that Medicare does NOT cover cupping or Gua Sha but these treatments can be added to your session for $25.

Facial Acupuncture is $125 per session. A package of 4 sessions for $450 is also available. Facial acupuncture is especially helpful for reduction of scars, reducing the appearance of wrinkles, and improving the texture of the skin. Facial treatments are currently not covered by insurance.

Acupuncture does not require a referral unless you are using VA Benefits.

We proudly use Po Sum ointment and medicated oil as part of acupuncture. These items can be purchased at the front desk on request.

Patient Testimonials

"My initial session was a complete success! I felt very fluid and much less tense than I have felt in quite some time. I was shocked the doctor immediately located the pain and how it was eliminated. I'm glad to be under the care of LCP&P. I'm looking forward to continuing my acupuncture treatment! - J.G.

"I have been in pain management for 10 years.  I have seen several pain doctors and several back doctors. I have also had several injections in my back.  A few months ago I started seeing Dr. Richardson.  I could tell by the way she listened to me that she was determined to find a way to treat me.  Within the last 4 months, my pain levels that were previously 9/10 have decreased to 2-3/10.  This has significantly changed my quality of life for the better.  I am truly thankful to Dr. Richardson and her staff and would recommend her to anyone looking for relief"  - G.D.

"The treatment Dr. Richardson has done for me has been great.  She will not give up until she diagnoses the problem." - D.M.
